Buddhabhumi Municipality Announces Vacancies for Medical Officers and Health Workers

Buddhabhumi Municipality, Kapilvastu, has invited applications for the recruitment of health professionals on a contract basis to operate its 15-bed Basic Municipal Hospital.

The Municipal Executive Office published a vacancy notice on Kartik 17, 2083 BS (2083/07/17), inviting applications from qualified and interested Nepali citizens for three different positions, including Medical Officer.

According to the notice issued by Chief Administrative Officer Yamkanta Pandey, eligible candidates must submit their applications during office hours within 15 days from the publication date of the notice.

Vacancy Details and Required Qualifications

The municipality has announced four vacancies across three positions.

Age Limits and Legal Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following age requirements according to their respective positions:

Medical Officer (Eighth Level)

• Minimum Age: 21 years.

• Maximum Age: Must not exceed 45 years.

Lab Technician and Radiographer (Fifth Level)

• Male Candidates: Must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years.

• Female Candidates: Must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years.

All candidates must also not be disqualified under prevailing laws.

Application Procedure, Deadline and Fees

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications according to the following arrangements:

• Application Deadline: Within 15 days from the publication date of the notice, until 2083/08/01 BS, during office hours.

• Application Submission Office: Buddhabhumi Municipality, Municipal Executive Office, Kapilvastu.

• Application Form: Available from the Administration, Planning and Monitoring Section.

• Application Fee for Medical Officer (Eighth Level): NPR 1,000.

• Application Fee for Assistant-Level Positions (Fifth Level): NPR 500.

• Payment Receipt: The original revenue payment receipt must be attached to the application.

Applications that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline or missing the required documents will not be processed.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants must submit the prescribed application form along with the following documents:

1. Photocopy of Nepali citizenship certificate.

2. Photocopies of educational qualification certificates.

3. Photocopy of registration certificate issued by the relevant professional council.

4. Experience certificate, if available.

5. Educational equivalence documents, where required.

Selection Process and Service Conditions

The municipality has specified the following arrangements for recruitment and selection:

• Selection Method: Written examination and interview.

• Examination Date: The municipality will publish a separate notice announcing the examination date.

• Examination Syllabus: The syllabus approved by the Lumbini Province Public Service Commission for the respective positions will apply.

• Contract Duration and Service Benefits: As prescribed by the municipality's rules.
