CAAN Appointment of Aviation Medical Examiners
Nepal Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN), Flight Safety Standards Department, Appointment of Designated Medical Examiners (DMEs) and Specialist Medical Examiners (SMEs).
DMEs/SMEs are required to conduct physical and mental fitness evaluations for civil aviation–related licences. Physicians who meet the qualifications and experience specified in CAAN’s Medical Requirement-2020 (5th Edition) must submit applications within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this first notice.
Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit copies of the following with their application:

Educational Qualifications: copies of degrees and certifications

Training: evidence of relevant trainings completed

Citizenship: Nepali citizenship certificate

Registration: Nepal Medical Council registration certificate
Applications not received within the prescribed deadline will not be processed.
