Contract Recruitment at Biratnagar ICP

Until a new operating company is selected and the operation is handed over, or until any other arrangement is made by the Committee, it is necessary to operate the Biratnagar Integrated Check Post (ICP) through internal management of the Committee.
For this purpose, the following temporarily sanctioned posts are to be filled in contract service through an open competitive examination. Therefore, applications are invited from Nepali citizens who have completed 18 (eighteen) years of age but not exceeded 40 (forty) years of age for the Assistant-level posts under open competition.
Eligible applicants are requested to submit applications to the Central Office of this Committee within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this notice, attaching certified copies of Nepali citizenship, educational qualification and training-related certificates, biodata, and the application. Applications may also be submitted via email at nitbktm@nitdb.gov.np.
It is also notified that applications that are not in due form or are received after the deadline will not be processed.
Senior Assistant
Post and Level: Senior Assistant, Level 5
Required Number: 4
Minimum Qualification: Certificate level / +2 or equivalent.
Foreman
Post and Level: Foreman, Level 4
Required Number: 2
Minimum Qualification:
Passed Proficiency Certificate Level or Diploma in Electrical Engineering,
or
Passed Level 2 Skill Test in the relevant subject provided by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
Office Assistant
Post and Level: Office Assistant, Level 4

Minimum Qualification: SLC/SEE or equivalent.
Plumber
Post and Level: Plumber
Required Number: 1
Minimum Qualification: Able to read and write simple text and has completed a three-month training related to plumbing.
Vehicle Driver
Post and Level: Light Vehicle Driver and Forklift Operator
Required Number: 1
Minimum Qualification: Able to read and write simple text and has obtained a driving licence.
Application Deadline, Examination and Other Conditions
Last Date for Submission of Application: 2082/08/19 (within office hours).
Type of Examination: There will be a practical examination and an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to participate in the practical examination and interview.
Salary and Benefits: Salary and other facilities will be as per the rules of the Committee.
Place of Work: Biratnagar Integrated Check Post, Biratnagar.
Candidates who have obtained their degree from a foreign educational institution must submit a copy of the equivalence certificate.
While selecting employees, special priority will be given to women, Adivasi, Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, persons with disabilities, and candidates from backward regions.
Work experience in dry ports, integrated check posts, warehouses, container freight stations, freight forwarders, customs agents, and cargo transport businesses will be given special consideration.
