Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Announces Contract Teacher Vacancies from TSC Merit Lists

Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Office of the Municipal Executive, has invited applications for the appointment of contract teachers to vacant Secondary and Primary Level positions in community schools within the municipality.

The office issued the vacancy notice on Kartik 10, 2083 BS (first publication date), inviting applications from candidates whose names appear on the contract teacher lists published by the Teacher Service Commission (TSC).

The recruitment process will be conducted in accordance with Section 17(3) of the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Municipal Education Act, 2081.

According to the notice, interested candidates who have not exceeded the prescribed age limit may apply under the following conditions:

• Secondary Level: Candidates included in the Teacher Service Commission's contract list for Sudurpashchim Province.

• Primary Level: Candidates included in the Teacher Service Commission's contract list for Kailali District under Sudurpashchim Province.

The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, Kartik 24, 2083 BS (2083/07/24), within office hours.

If the application deadline falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted on the first working day after the holiday.

The notice specifies that there is no provision for submitting applications with a double fee.

• Primary Level: NPR 500 (Five Hundred Rupees Only).

Applicants must pay the prescribed application fee in cash at the Revenue Section of the Sub-Metropolitan City Office.

The payment receipt must be attached to the application form.

Salary, Remuneration and Other Benefits

The remuneration and other benefits for the selected teachers will be provided according to the rates prescribed by the Government of Nepal for the respective levels and grades.

According to the notice, information regarding the schools where the selected teachers will be assigned will be provided later.

Required Documents for Application Submission

Applicants must submit the following certified documents along with their applications:

1. Application Form: A completed application form in the prescribed format.

2. Citizenship Certificate: A certified photocopy of the Nepali citizenship certificate.

3. Teaching License: A certified photocopy of the permanent teaching license.

4. Academic Qualification Certificates: Certified photocopies of educational qualification certificates.

5. TSC Examination Admit Card: A certified photocopy of the admit card issued for the Teacher Service Commission examination.

6. TSC Contract Merit List: A certified copy of the Teacher Service Commission's contract list showing the applicant's name.

Provision If No Applications Are Received

The office has clarified that if no applications are received for the advertised positions within the prescribed deadline, candidates who successfully passed the examination advertised by the office for preparing its teacher waiting list will be recommended and forwarded for appointment.
