Duduwa Rural Municipality Contract Recruitment Notice

Duduwa Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Bankatti, Banke publishes this notice regarding filling positions on a service contract.

Under the Safe Migration (SAMI) Program operated as per a bilateral agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland, Duduwa Rural Municipality requires contract staff for disseminating information on safe foreign employment, providing support and facilitation in issues related to foreign employment, delivering psychosocial counselling services, and conducting awareness programs on safe foreign employment.

Therefore, applications are invited from eligible interested Nepali citizens for the following posts, with the required number and qualifications as mentioned below. As per the order, this notice is published for the information of all concerned to submit applications within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice, during office hours, along with the prescribed receipt.

Minimum Educational Qualifications

1) Psychosocial Counsellor

Must have passed any one of the following from a recognized institution:

• Health Assistant, or

• Staff Nurse, or

• Bachelor level in Public Health / Nursing / Psychology / Sociology / Social Work from a recognized university, or

• Bachelor level in Health Education, or

• Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.

In addition:

• Must have completed a 6-month psychosocial counselling training and have a certificate from the National Health Training Center.

• Experienced candidates who have worked in the same field and female candidates will be given special priority.

• Must not be disqualified to apply for government service posts as per prevailing laws.

• Must have basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Must be able to speak in both Nepali and English and be able to prepare reports.

2) Returnee (Volunteer)

• Must have passed at least Grade 8 and have at least 1 year of work experience after going for foreign employment (Gulf countries and Malaysia).

• Priority will be given to those who have worked in the field of safe foreign employment.

Note: For this post, the candidate must be a local resident of the concerned local level.

3. Work Period: For now, until the end of Ashar 2083; it may be renewed based on program needs and work performance/evaluation.

4. Selection Method: Interview and practical.

5. Salary and Other Facilities: As per program rules.

6. Required Documents: Eligible interested Nepali citizens must submit an application clearly stating the post they wish to apply for, along with:

   • Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate

   • Copy of educational qualification certificates

   • Copy of experience certificate

   • One copy of a passport-size photograph
     Applications received after the specified deadline will not be included in the selection process.
