Nepal Army, Directorate of Recruitment Selection, Jangi Adda, Call for Applications for Contract Service in Anesthesiologist and General Surgeon Posts.
For contract appointment in military service to the posts of Anesthesiologist and General Surgeon, selection is required through open competition to work for the mission duration in the UNDOF Mission, Syria, Level 1 (+) Hospital (Peacekeeping Force) 7th Contingent, and in the UNSMIL Mission, Libya, Shri Gurubaksh Gulm (Peacekeeping Force) – SGU 8th Contingent. Therefore, applications are invited from interested Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications as specified below.

3. Application Submission Date and Location
Applications may be submitted from 2082/09/06 to 2082/09/20 at the Nepal Army Central Recruitment Selection Center, Swayambhu.
4. Application Fee
The application fee is NPR 1,000 (one thousand). The amount must be deposited in the Nepal Bank Limited account number 00101000000001001001 (Office Code 345013513 and Revenue Heading No. 14224, Examination Fee). The original voucher and one photocopy (1/1) must be submitted along with the application form.
5. Required Qualifications
(a) Educational Qualifications

Anesthesiologist: Must have passed MD, Anesthesiologist.

General Surgeon: Must have passed MS, Surgery.
(b) Minimum Physical Standards
-
Male: Height 5 ft 3 in; Chest 32–34 in; Weight 50 kg (110 pounds)

Female: Height 5 ft; Weight 40 kg (88 pounds)
(c) If Using Glasses
Eyesight must not be weaker than ±2.
(d) Other Qualifications
Must not have been convicted by a court in any criminal case, must not be a member of any political organization, and must not have been convicted for violations of human rights and humanitarian law.
6. Age Limit (Up to the Final Application Submission Date)

Male: Must have completed 18 years and must not exceed 45 years.

Female: Must have completed 18 years and must not exceed 46 years.
7. Required Documents to Submit
Copies of the following documents must be self-attested by the candidates and submitted in 1/1 copies, kept in a Nepali file. Laminated and overwritten certificates will not be recognized. When coming to submit the application, the originals of all submitted documents must be brought mandatorily.
(a) Anesthesiologist

Nepali citizenship certificate.

Provisional/original certificates of MBBS and MD, Anesthesiologist; character certificate; and marksheets/transcripts.

Nepal Medical Council certificates for both levels (MBBS and MD, Anesthesiologist).

Experience certificates: Minimum of Two (2) years of progressive practice (After Receipt of NMC Specialist License) in their specialty before immediate deployment.

For those who obtained degrees from boards and universities outside Nepal, a Tribhuvan University equivalence certificate must be submitted.

Police Clearance Certificate.
(b) General Surgeon

Nepali citizenship certificate.

Nepal Medical Council certificates for both levels (MBBS and MS Surgery).
