For all advertised posts, applications must be submitted through the online application system. Applications can be submitted via the Commission’s online system: https://onlineppsc.gandaki.gov.np/. Last Date to Apply

Up to 2082/09/29, and up to 2082/10/06 by paying a double fee.

Age Limit of Candidates

By 2082/09/29, the candidate must have completed 18 years and must not have exceeded 35 years. In the case of women/candidates with disabilities, the candidate must not have exceeded 40 years.

In the case of candidates applying for posts under the Health Service, the candidate must have completed 18 years and must not have exceeded 45 years. However, the age limit will not apply to currently serving permanent employees of the Federal Civil Service, any Province Civil Service, and Local Service.

Application Fee

Application fee is NPR 500. Candidates applying for additional advertisements under the inclusive group must pay an additional NPR 150 per additional group.

Method and Place for Paying the Application Fee

The bank voucher (with Master ID and transaction reference number) generated through the Commission’s online application system can be printed and paid in cash at the designated bank.

After the bank voucher is generated through the Commission’s online application system, payment can also be made through the designated Payment Service.

Once an application has been submitted for any advertisement, it will not be possible to add/remove details or correct the application for the same advertisement again.

Application Fee Payment Period

Up to 2082/10/07 (if it falls on a public holiday, within office hours on the day the office reopens after the public holiday).

Documents to Upload

Candidates must upload, in PDF format at the designated section of the online application system, the academic qualification documents (mark sheet and character certificate), documents required for opening the inclusive group, and other documents specified in the relevant advertisement.

All candidates must scan and upload the front and back sides of their citizenship certificate in JPG format. For candidates applying for posts under the Health Service, as registration with the professional council is required, the registration certificate must also be uploaded.

Candidates applying under internal competition must upload the permanent appointment letter and the letter of adjustment to the relevant level. The candidate shall be fully responsible for the details stated in the application.

Interview Date: Will be notified when the result of the written examination is published.

Required Minimum Qualification

Assistant Sub-Engineer (Engineering, Civil)

SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution, with training in the relevant subject, or TSLC passed in the relevant subject from a technical institute.

Drinking Water and Sanitation Technician (Engineering, Civil, Sanitary)

SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution, with training in drinking water and sanitation, or two years’ experience in the relevant field.

Amin (Engineering, Survey)

SLC/SEE or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution with Mathematics as a subject, and one year of training in Survey or Geomatics.

Assistant Technical Assistant (Agriculture)

JTA (Agricultural Science) trained from a recognized educational institution, or SLC/SEE or TSLC/TSEE passed with the relevant subject.

Assistant Livestock Health Technician (Agriculture, Veterinary)

SLC/SEE passed from a recognized educational institution with JTA (Animal Science) training, or TSLC/SEE or equivalent passed with Agriculture (Animal Husbandry/Animal Health) as a subject.

Assistant Livestock Service Technician (Agriculture, La.Po.De.De.)

SLC/SEE passed from a recognized educational institution with JTA (Animal Science) training, or TSLC/SEE or equivalent passed with Agriculture (Animal Husbandry/Animal Health) as a subject.

ANM (Health, Public Health Nursing)

ANM course passed from a recognized educational institution.

AHW (Health, Health Inspection)

AHW or CMA course passed from a recognized educational institution.

Administration Assistant (Administration, Administration)

Entrance examination (SLC/SEE) or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution.

Accounts Assistant (Administration, Accounts)

Entrance examination (SLC/SEE) or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution, having taken Mathematics, Ain Sreshta, or Optional Account as a subject.

Assistant Women Development Inspector (Administration, Miscellaneous)

SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution.

Note: For candidates who passed the entrance examination (SLC/SEE) or equivalent after the grading system was implemented, obtaining GPA 2 or above will be considered as meeting the minimum qualification.

Notice for Internal Competition, Open, and Inclusive Examinations

(a) To apply under the internal competition of the local service, the candidate must meet the qualification as per Section 10, Sub-section (12) of the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2079, and Rule 68 of the Regulation.

(b) The written examination for open and inclusive categories will be held on the same date and time (separate examinations will not be required for each service/group, open, and inclusive group).

(c) While publishing the results of candidates selected through the open and inclusive written examination, the results will be published collectively in alphabetical order.

(d) Candidates selected through the inclusive group written examination will not be able to choose the priority order of inclusive groups. Based on the inclusive groups stated by the candidate in the application form, the candidate’s inclusive group will be determined as per the Commission’s prevailing provisions.

(e) After all stages of the examination, recommendation for appointment will be made according to the merit order obtained.

Special Instructions for Candidates Applying Under Inclusive Group Advertisements

For Adivasi/Janajati

Based on the list of ethnicities listed under the Nepal Adivasi/Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act. However, if there are more than one surname within a listed ethnicity, the candidate must submit, along with the application, a certification from the Chief District Officer, upon recommendation of the concerned local level, stating that the surname falls within the listed ethnicity.

For Dalit

Based on the list of ethnicities listed by the National Dalit Commission. However, if there are more than one surname within a listed ethnicity, the candidate must submit, along with the application, a certification from the Chief District Officer, upon recommendation of the concerned local level, stating that the surname falls within the listed ethnicity.

For economically underprivileged Khas/Arya

If the poverty identity card has been obtained as per prevailing law, the candidate must submit that card and the Khas Arya verification recommendation letter. If the poverty identity card has not been obtained, the candidate must submit a recommendation issued by the concerned local level stating “a person from the underprivileged Khas/Arya community whose annual income is below the limit prescribed by law.” Such recommendation letter must be of the current fiscal year.

For persons with disabilities

The disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council, or the disability identity card issued by the concerned local level with disability classification mentioned, pursuant to Section 4, Sub-section (3) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074, must be submitted.

For Tharu

Based on the list of ethnicities listed by the Tharu Commission. However, if there are more than one surname within a listed ethnicity, the candidate must submit, along with the application, a certification from the Chief District Officer, upon recommendation of the concerned local level, stating that the surname falls within the listed ethnicity.

For Muslim

Based on the list of ethnicities listed by the Muslim Commission. However, if there are more than one surname within a listed ethnicity, the candidate must submit, along with the application, a certification from the Chief District Officer, upon recommendation of the concerned local level, stating that the surname falls within the listed ethnicity.

For Madhesi

Based on the list of ethnicities listed by the Madhesi Commission. However, if there are more than one surname within a listed ethnicity, the candidate must submit, along with the application, a certification from the Chief District Officer, upon recommendation of the concerned local level, stating that the surname falls within the listed ethnicity.

Remarks

(a) If all or some of the posts allocated for internal competition and inclusive groups cannot be filled, then, as stated in the service terms-related law, such unfilled posts will be filled through open competition of the same year. After confirming such unfilled posts and adding them to the number of posts under open category, the combined number will be treated as the vacant post number and the written examination results will be published accordingly.

(b) As per Section 10, Sub-section (2) of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079, and Section 11, Sub-section (2) of the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2079, one person will receive the reservation facility only once during the entire service period.

(c) The double-fee period will not be counted for the purpose of age, academic qualification, experience period, and other qualification requirements.

(d) Since there is no provision under the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079 and the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2079 for becoming a candidate for posts of the same level/class, such candidates will not be allowed to apply.

(e) Applications that are not submitted within the deadline set by the Commission, or do not meet the minimum qualification, or do not disclose other required details, or do not pay the prescribed fee, will not be accepted.

(f) The prescribed academic qualification must have been obtained by the last date to apply. Candidates who studied at foreign institutions must have obtained equivalency determination from the concerned authority for the qualification they obtained. However, in the case of candidates who have completed the prescribed academic qualification from universities in Nepal and apply for the prescribed post, if they are unable to submit, along with the application by the last day to apply (with single fee), the minimum academic qualification certificate or transcript due to time constraints, then such candidates will be considered to have met the minimum qualification if the result has already been published by the concerned university by the last day to apply with single fee, and they submit evidence accordingly, including a letter from the university or educational institution stating that the concerned student has completed all examinations of the degree within that period (all year/semester exams, thesis, practical, and other requirements), along with mark sheets of all semesters. Candidates who studied at foreign institutions must have obtained equivalency determination from the concerned authority for the qualification they obtained.

(g) Candidates who require a scribe (assistant writer) in the written examination must submit a written application to the Commission’s office at least 10 (ten) days before the date of the written examination.

(h) Candidates who pass the written examination must, before attending the interview, mandatorily submit the originals of the academic qualification certificates, citizenship certificate, and the documents stated as required for candidates applying under inclusive and open categories, along with 1/1 copy of each, self-attested by the candidate.

(i) In the written examination, examinees must compulsorily use black ink only; otherwise, the answer sheet will be cancelled.

(j) Matters other than those mentioned in this notice will be as per the Province Public Service Commission Act, Regulation, and Directive.
