Gokarneshwor Municipality Seeks Contract Staff for Municipal Hospital
Kathmandu — Gokarneshwor Municipality, Office of the Municipal Executive, Jorpati, Kathmandu, has invited applications for various posts at Gokarneshwor Municipal Hospital through contract service.
The Municipality published a notice on 2083 Bhadra 11 stating that doctors and other employees will be recruited on contract for vacant approved positions under its internal source. Eligible Nepali citizens must submit their applications during office hours within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice, by 2083 Bhadra 25.

Educational Qualifications

Ninth-level specialist posts (Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and Neurology, Ear, Nose and Throat, M.D.G.P., and Pathologist): Must have passed a postgraduate degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution.

Fifth-level posts (Staff Nurse, Pharmacy Assistant, Lab Technician, Radiographer, Health Assistant, and Physiotherapy Assistant): Must have passed the Certificate Level or equivalent in the relevant subject.

A.N.M. and A.H.W. (Fourth Level): Must have passed the A.N.M. course and C.M.A. course, respectively.

Lab Assistant: Must have passed the Lab Assistant course.

Electrician: Must have passed S.L.C. or S.E.E. and completed Level 2 skill testing in the electrician trade from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

Computer Assistant: Must have passed S.L.C. or S.E.E. and completed six months of computer-related training.

Office Helper: Must be able to read and write at a basic level.
Age Limit

For Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and Neurology Specialist, Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, M.D.G.P., Pathologist, Medical Officer, Lab Technologist, and B. Optometric posts, applicants must have completed 21 years of age and must not exceed 45 years.

For the Information Technology Officer post, applicants must have completed 21 years of age and must not exceed 35 years.

For Staff Nurse, Pharmacy Assistant, Lab Technician, Radiographer, Health Assistant, Physiotherapy Assistant, A.N.M., A.H.W., and Lab Assistant posts, applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not exceed 45 years.

For Electrician, Computer Assistant, and Office Helper posts, applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not exceed 35 years.
Additional Information and Application Process

Application Fee: Rs. 1,500 for officer-level posts and Rs. 1,000 for assistant-level posts.

Required Documents: One copy each of the applicant’s personal details, educational qualification certificates, Nepali citizenship certificate, experience certificate, and council registration certificate where applicable. Candidates must not be disqualified under prevailing law.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through shortlisting and interview. The date, time, and venue of the interview for shortlisted candidates will be specified later.
