Manarashiswa Municipality Contract Staff Recruitment Notice

Manarashiswa Municipality, Office of the Municipal Executive, Manara, Mahottari, Madhesh Province, Nepal.

This notice has been published to fill various posts under the approved organisational structure of Manarashiswa Municipality through contract staff management as per the “Manarashiswa Municipality Procedure 2079 for Managing Contract Staff”.

Eligible candidates who meet the minimum academic qualifications specified below are invited to submit applications within 15 days from the first publication date of this notice.

Terms and Conditions

1. Age Limit:

   • For general posts: Must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeded 40 years of age by the last date for submitting the application.

   • For health sector posts: Must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeded 45 years of age.

   • For municipal police posts: Must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeded 35 years of age. In the case of candidates who have served in a security agency of Nepal, the upper age limit shall not exceed 58 years.

2. Citizenship:

   • Candidates must submit a certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate.

3. Application Form and Academic Certificates:

   • Applicants must fill in all details in the application form issued by the municipality and submit certified copies of certificates of minimum academic qualifications.

4. Preference for Local Experience:

   • Special preference will be given to those who have worked in the local level.

5. Priority for Women:

   • Women will be given special priority.

6. Holiday on Last Date:

   • If the last date for submitting applications falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted up to the next day within office hours.

7. Decision-Making Authority:

   • The final decision regarding staff recruitment shall rest with the municipality. There will be no provision for appeal in this regard.

8. Equivalence for Foreign Degrees:

   • In the case of studies completed from foreign institutions, candidates must also submit a copy of the equivalence certificate issued by Tribhuvan University or an authority designated by the Government of Nepal.

9. Priority for Municipal Police:

   • For municipal police posts, special priority will be given to those who have retired or taken pension from a security agency of Nepal.

10. Type of Examination:

    • For Ninth, Eighth, Seventh, Sixth, Fifth and Fourth level posts: Written examination and interview.

    • For unclassified level posts: Practical examination and interview.

11. Remuneration:

    • Service facilities will be provided as specified by the municipality and as mentioned in the contract agreement.

12. Examination Fee:

    • Ninth, Eighth, Seventh and Sixth level: Rs. 1,200 (One thousand two hundred only).

    • Fifth and Fourth level: Rs. 1,000 (One thousand only).

    • Unclassified level: Rs. 500 (Five hundred only).

    • The cash receipt or bank voucher for the examination fee must be submitted together with the application.

13. Contact Date:

    • Within 7 days from the last date for submitting applications.

14. Examination Date:

    • To be determined later.

15. Service Period:

    • Up to the end of Asadh 2083. Based on work evaluation (performance appraisal), the office may extend the term.

16. Place to Obtain Application Form:

    • From the Administration Section of the municipality and from the municipal website.

17. Place to Submit Application Form:

    • Applications must be submitted to the Administration Section of the municipality.

18. Last Date for Submitting Applications:

    • Within office hours on the 15th day from the date of publication of this notice.
