Mithila Municipality Seeks Contract Volunteer Teachers, Calls for Applications Within 15 Days

Mithila Municipality, Office of the Municipal Executive, Dhalkebar, Dhanusha, Madhesh Province, has invited applications for teachers on a service contract basis for the mobilization and recruitment of volunteer teachers in the community schools under the municipality.

According to the notice first published by the Education, Youth and Sports Section on 2083/03/01, eligible candidates have been called to duly submit applications within 15 (fifteen) days. This advertisement has been opened as per the decision of the Municipal Executive meeting dated 2082/12/19.

The municipality has invited applications for the following posts at the secondary and basic levels:

Secondary Level (Classes 9–10)

For this level, the minimum educational qualification required is a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject. However, for candidates applying for Social Studies, a bachelor’s degree in any subject will be sufficient, as stated in the notice.

Qualifications, Selection Process, and Other Provisions

Age: Candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have exceeded 40 years of age, or must be as prescribed by the Teachers Service Commission.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through a written examination, interview, and practical system.

Curriculum: The curriculum will be based on the curriculum prescribed by the Teachers Service Commission and as decided by the committee.

Application Submission Place: The application format can be downloaded from the municipality’s official website, www.mithilamun.gov.np. The application form can be submitted in person at the Education, Youth and Sports Section of the Office of Mithila Municipal Executive or through the email addresses mithilamunicipality81@gmail.com or mithilaedu2074@gmail.com.

Application Fee: The application fee has been fixed at Rs. 1,400/- for secondary level up to classes 9–12 and Rs. 700/- for basic level up to classes 6–8. The fee may be deposited in the office’s internal revenue account no. 1150079587100081 at Machhapuchchhre Development Bank Limited, Dhalkebar Branch, or at the Revenue Section of Mithila Municipality.

Facilities: The facilities for selected teachers will be as prescribed by the Municipal Executive.

Along with the application, candidates must submit the application form as per Schedule-3 and copies of the following documents certified by the applicant:

1. Copy of citizenship certificate

2. Two copies of passport-size photograph

3. Character certificate

4. Certificate of minimum educational qualification

5. Permanent teaching license
