National Cooperative Bank Calls Applications for Expert Director Posts
National Cooperative Bank Limited (NCBL) has called for applications for two expert director posts to be appointed through open competition. The bank published a notice on 2083/03/11, inviting applications from qualified and interested Nepali citizens.
As per the prevailing legal provisions relating to the Board of Directors and the regulatory directives of Nepal Rastra Bank, the bank has stated that it is appointing expert directors in banking and cooperatives.

Qualification and Experience
According to the notice, candidates must have high academic qualifications and sufficient experience in the relevant field, either banking or cooperatives. Candidates must also be eligible as per the regulatory provisions of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Nepali citizenship certificate, academic qualification certificates, training certificates, and work experience certificates (self-attested copies).

One copy of a concept paper not exceeding 5,000 words. The topic of the concept paper must be as follows according to the post:

For Banking Expert: On the business modality of National Cooperative Bank, including a SWOT analysis of the bank in accordance with cooperative principles and the regulatory arrangements of Nepal Rastra Bank.

For Cooperative Expert: Strategic concept, governance, risk management, and sustainability for the sustainable development of National Cooperative Bank, including the bank’s SWOT analysis.
