National Information Technology Center (NITC) Vacancy for Various Positions:

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, National Information Technology Center (Rastriya Suchana Prabidhi Kendra), Singha Durbar, Kathmandu published vacancy notice for the following posts in the National Information Technology Center and its subordinate offices have to be taken on a service contract for the remaining period of FY 077/78.

Received Master's degree in Computer Science, or Master's degree in Computer Engineering from a recognized educational institution or Master's degree in Computer Science from a major subject and has 5 years experience in the position of Officer level in the field of Information Technology.

Required Qualification and Experience:

Information Technology (IT) Director: Master's degree in Computer Science, or Master's degree in Computer Engineering from a recognized educational institution, or Master's degree in Computer Science from a major subject and has 5 years experience in the position of Officer level in the field of Information Technology.

Computer Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from a recognized educational institution, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Electrical Engineer: BE in Electrical Engineering from a recognized educational institution, or equivalent, or at least in Electrical and Electronics or Electrical and Computer Engineering in Electrical Machine, Power System, Control System, Power Electronics, Switch Gear and Protection, Power Circuit Theory and Network. Or BE or BTech or similar.

System Administrator: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a recognized educational institution, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 4 years.

Electrical Technician: Passed Diploma / Certificate level in Electrical Engineering from a recognized educational institution, or similar.

Computer Technician: Passed Certificate level in Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering or Certificate level in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized educational institution and received at least 6 months training in Computer Maintenance from a recognized institution, or passed Certificate level and received at least 1-year training in Computer Maintenance from a recognized institution.

Computer Operator: Passed proficiency certificate level or equivalent in computer subject from a recognized educational institution, or passed proficiency certificate level from a recognized educational institution, or similar and received at least 6 months computer training from a registered institution. Or, Passed Proficiency Certificate level from a recognized educational institution, or equivalent and received 6 months of computer training from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for Skilled Manpower.

Basis of assessment: Interview.

Salary Facility: As per the prevailing salary scale of the Government of Nepal.

Age limit: In case of Gazetted Second Class, completed 21 years and not exceeding 45 years; In the case of Gazetted Third Class, 21 years have been completed and not exceeding 35 years; And Non-Gazetted First Class posts in the age of 18 years and not exceeding 35 years (in case of women and persons with disabilities not less than 40 years).

5) Documents to be submitted along with the application: The following documents should be certified and submitted with your own signature.

A) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,

B) There should be a copy of the certificate of educational qualification and character qualification, (including the certificate of equivalence in case of a certificate of foreign educational institution) as well as the certificate registered with the Nepal Engineering Council for the post of engineer.

C) Copy of Experience Certificate in case of post requiring experience, (Explicitly the period should also be open).

D) Copy of training certificate taken from a recognized institution.
