1. Project Coordinator- Education for Girls Learn Equally
Mid-level role with Fixed Term Employment until June 2023 based in Sindhuli under Regional Office-East
With direct supervision of Programme Specialist — LEARN, this position is responsible to oversee and ensure a high-quality project delivery/ implementation of the Girls Learn Equally project and achieve the set targets. Furthermore, she/he will be responsible to manage the overall performance of partners under Learn programme at the district level representing the Plan in various forums in the respective sector/s; including government at municipal and district level and other stakeholders and like-minded organization. The position will also work closely with the
Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Coordinator of Regional Office East to enhance the capacity and skill of partner NGO in the sector of data management, capture the evidence and reporting.
This project will address the key barriers for access to quality education and promote child-friendly & gender-transformative learning environment at school & community to improve the learning outcomes of the children. The project will also support strengthening the inclusive & quality education system at the Palika level.
2. Technical Advisor- Learn (Education)
Mid-level role with Fixed Term Employment until June 2023 based in Regional Office-West (Surkhet)
The Technical Advisor—Education (LEARN) will provide support to develop Plan International Nepal's strategy and programmatic/influencing approach on education. The Education Technical Advisor will support the Senior Technical Advisor- LEARN in designing, implementing and monitoring education projects; focused to increase learning outcomes of early grade children via promoting a child-friendly learning environment, strengthen gender-transformative & inclusive learning environment & system, improve STEAM-based teaching & learning system, reduce disaster risk & climate change effect in schools and communities. The Education Technical Advisor will also be responsible for the capacity development of Plan International Nepal and its partner staff on education.
