Tharpu Secondary School Teacher and Instructor Vacancy

Tharpu Secondary School (General and Technical Stream in Plant Science), Yangwarak-4, Medibung, Panchthar, Koshi Province, Nepal, invites applications for the following positions.

As per the advertisement approval letter received from the Education, Youth and Sports Branch, Yangwarak Rural Municipality, Panchthar (Ref. No. 146, dated 2082/05/03) and the decision of the School Management Committee dated 2082/05/11, these posts will be filled on a contract basis through an open competitive process. Eligible Nepali citizens between 18 to 40 years of age are invited to apply.

1. Teacher

Subject: Chemistry

Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent

Salary and Benefits: As determined by the Government of Nepal

2. Instructor

Required Number: 1

Level: Former Upper Secondary

Category: Equivalent to Secondary Level II

Type: Contract

Subject: Plant Science

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. Ag or, if not available, B.Sc. Ag with 1 year of experience

Salary and Benefits: As determined by the Government of Nepal

• If the final day falls on a public holiday, applications will be accepted until the next working day during office hours.

• For the Instructor position, if M.Sc. Ag candidates are unavailable, B.Sc. Ag with 1 year of work experience will be accepted. The application period in that case will be extended from 2082/05/26 to 2082/05/27 until 4:00 PM.
