Under Paragraph 8, Rule 15 of the Tribhuvan University Regulations on Criteria and Standards for Appointment to Term Positions, 2081, qualified and interested candidates are invited to apply for the post of Executive Director of TU B.P. Koirala Lions Centre for Ophthalmic Studies.

Personal details.

Certified evidence demonstrating professional competence to operate hospitals and specialized medical centers; problem-solving; human resource management; and the ability to lead technical and managerial functions related to administrative operations (general and financial).

As required by Regulation 16(3)(Gha): research work; articles published in indexed national and international journals; graded books; certified materials related to curriculum development and technology development.

Documents evidencing leadership (PI, Co-PI, or Member) of research projects funded by international and national funds, experience in fund-raising, and experience in national/international collaboration.

A strategic work plan of 1,000 to 2,000 words for the upcoming term to upgrade and advance the Center in line with the University’s plan.

A self-declaration stating that the applicant has no investment in private entities that creates a conflict of interest with the relevant institute, faculty, or hospital of the University, and is not engaged in any service at private educational institutions.

Any additional evidence of contributions made in hospital development and management.
