Minimum Eligibility

• Citizenship: Nepali citizen.

• Age (by the last application date):

  • Havildar: Completed 21 years and not exceeding 24 years.

  • Jawan: Completed 18 years and not exceeding 22 years.

  • Ex-servicemen (Army/Police): Not exceeding 45 years.

• Minimum Education:

  • Assistant Inspector and Havildar: SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  • Jawan: Grade 8 (Basic Level) passed from a recognized institution.

  • Note: The stated educational requirement does not apply to ex-servicemen (Army/Police).

• Height, Chest, and Weight:

  • Male: Minimum height 5 ft 2 in; chest 31–33 in; weight 50 kg.

  • Female: Minimum height 5 ft; weight 42 kg.

• Vision: Not weaker than +2/–2.

• Conduct: Not disqualified for future government service; not convicted by a court for a criminal offense involving moral turpitude.

Contract Term and Benefits

• Contract Duration: As per contract agreement.

• Service Facilities: As determined by the rural municipality.

Required Documents

• Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate – 1 copy

• Passport-size photographs – 3 copies

• Copies of educational qualification certificates – 1 copy each

• For ex-servicemen (Army/Police): Copy of document evidencing previous service – 1 copy

• Medical fitness certificate from an approved physician – 1 copy

• Self-declaration stating no criminal conviction or punishment

Application Fee

• Municipal Police Assistant Inspector: NPR 800

• Municipal Police Havildar: NPR 600

• Municipal Police Jawan: NPR 400

• For inclusive category applications: Additional NPR 200
