Vacancy Announcement for Food Security Program Specialist in Peace Corps Nepal

The United States Peace Corps is seeking a Food Security Program Specialist (FSPS) to work as a full-time, long-term personal services contractor based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Minimum Qualifications Required
To be considered for this position, interested candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Position: Food Security Program Specialist
- Education: A university Bachelor's degree in a Project-related subject (Health, Agriculture, Education), or Social Sciences, Development, Public Administration, or Management.
- Prior Work Experience: Five or more years of grassroots, community development experience.
- Language Proficiency: Professional oral and written English and Nepali proficiency.
- Experience and Skills: Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office (Windows, Excel, Word), detail-oriented, organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural team. Strong written and oral communication skills are also essential.
