Far Western University Faculty of Engineering Entrance Exam Notice for Student Admission in BE Civil, BE Computer and B.Architecture Programs
Far Western University, Faculty of Engineering, Office of the Dean, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, has issued a notice regarding admission and the entrance examination for the BE Civil, BE Computer, and B.Architecture programs for the academic session 2083/084. Under the University, 48 seats have been allocated for each program, including 24 scholarship seats and 24 full-fee seats. For affiliated colleges, 5 scholarship seats are available per college in the Civil program.
Applicants must have passed from a recognized institution with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45 percent or CGPA 2. The online application form can be filled from Asar 24, 2083 to Shrawan 18, 2083 through the official website. The entrance examination fee is Rs. 2,500.
The University entrance examination will be conducted on Shrawan 21, 2083 at 11:00 AM at the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar. In the case of affiliated colleges, the examination has been fixed for Shrawan 28. For further information, contact 099-520296.

1.2) For Affiliated Colleges
For each affiliated college, the BE Civil Engineering Program will have 5 scholarship seats.
2) Minimum Qualification for Application
Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized educational institution and must have secured at least 45% of the total full marks in the secondary level examination of the National Examination Board, Engineering Diploma, or equivalent examination. Under the Letter Grading system, applicants must have obtained CGPA/GPA 2 on a scale of 4.
Applicants must have secured at least 45% in each subject—Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—or, under the Letter Grading system, a minimum C grade in each subject. In the case of A Level, applicants must have a minimum D grade in the above-mentioned subjects. In the case of other subjects, students who have passed even without a minimum C grade, or in the case of A Level without a minimum D grade in the above-mentioned subjects, may duly apply and participate in the entrance examination.
Students who have appeared in the final examination of Grade 12 or equivalent, or who have appeared in the sixth semester examination of Engineering Diploma, may also duly apply and participate in the entrance examination.
3) Application Form Filling Method and Required Documents
3.1) Application Submission
For student admission at the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, and for the scholarship quota provided to affiliated colleges, applicants must log in to “Engineering Admission Open” on the website of Far Western University or the Faculty of Engineering: www.fwu.edu.np or www.facultyengineering.fwu.edu.nphttp://www.facultyengineering.fwu.edu.np/, fill in the application form, and submit it through the same website.
3.2) Online Form Availability
The online form will be available on the website from 2083/03/24 to 2083/04/18. The form must be filled in and submitted within the specified period.
3.3) Documents to Be Uploaded While Filling the Online Form

While filling the form, the applicant must compulsorily upload personal details, including the names of mother and father, phone number, and permanent address, and a government-issued photo identity document such as Nepali citizenship certificate or National Identity Card.

A recently taken color passport-size photograph with a plain background and full forehead clearly visible must be uploaded.

Scanned copies of SEE or equivalent and NEB or equivalent academic certificates must be uploaded.

Examinees applying for scholarships under the inclusive category at the School and affiliated campuses must compulsorily submit the required certified documents of the concerned group.

The original bank voucher showing deposit of the entrance examination fee of Rs. 2,500 (in words: two thousand five hundred only) in the current account of FWU Faculty of Engineering at Nepal Bank Limited, Mahendranagar Branch, Current Account No. 15600107269169000001, or a screenshot of the Transaction ID Number received when using electronic means, must be uploaded compulsorily.
Note: The amount paid for the entrance examination will not be refunded.

5) Distribution of Admit Cards
Admit cards will be distributed on the day of the entrance examination itself at the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Students must compulsorily bring their Nepali citizenship certificate or National Identity Card when coming to collect the admit card.
Classes at the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, will be conducted during the Day Shift.

For admission to affiliated colleges, except for the scholarships provided by Far Western University, the application form has been opened as follows, with the respective colleges managing the entrance examination forms.
