Jiri Technical School Announces Admission for Diploma in Pharmacy
The esteemed Jiri Technical School (JTS) is proud to announce that it will be introducing Pharmacy Diploma level classes. Backed by the approval from the Medical Education Commission, this decision is a result of diligent deliberation by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Recognized as a model institution in Nepal, JTS continues its trend of providing high-quality, market-relevant education.
What to Expect from the Upcoming Academic Session
Set to commence from the academic session of 2080/81, the Pharmacy Diploma classes will provide a robust foundation in health sciences. Spearheaded by Karma Sherpa, the head of Shikshalaya, the program has been meticulously designed to cater to 40 dedicated learners.
Eligibility and Enrollment
Those who have successfully passed the SEE examination are welcome to apply. This exclusive offering expands upon the existing curriculum at JTS, which already features diploma level courses in Agricultural Science, Animal Science, and Civil Engineering, each with a quota of 40 students.
Post the introduction of the Pharmacy Diploma program, JTS will be able to facilitate a total of 160 students, nurturing their ambitions in the fields of health and engineering.
Tuition Fees
The course fees for these diverse programs are set to accommodate the expertise and resources involved in their conduct. For Plant and Animal Science, the fee is Rs. 75,000, and for Civil Engineering, it's Rs. 90,000. As for the newly introduced three-year Pharmacy Diploma course, the total fee is Rs. 100,000.
Facilities and Infrastructure
In anticipation of these new classes, JTS has fully prepared the necessary infrastructural requirements. Anatomy Lab, Physiology Lab, and Health Clinic are under active preparation, with additional labs set to be incorporated from the following year, according to Kumar Adhikari, an instructor at Shikshalaya.
