TU FOHSS Opens MCA Entrance Exam Application 2025

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Office of the Dean has published an entrance examination notice for new admission to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) program for the academic session 2025 (2082/083 B.S.).
The Office has called for online applications from eligible students.
Eligibility
To enroll in this program, the student must have passed one of the following degrees from a recognized educational institution:

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

B.E. (Computer/Electronics/Information Technology/Software)

B.I.T. (BIT)
-
B.Sc. CSIT (BSc. CSIT)

B.I.M. (BIM)
-
B.Ed. ICT/BICT (Bed. ICT/BICT)
For the grading system, the minimum requirement is 2.7 CGPA (B- Grade).
For the annual system, the minimum requirement is 45 percent marks.
Online application portal and deadlines
Interested applicants can fill the online form through entrance.tufohss.edu.np.
The deadline for applications under the regular fee is from February 1 to 15, 2026 (2082 Magh 18 to Falgun 3).
Applications can also be submitted by paying a double fee from February 16 to 18, 2026 (2082 Falgun 4 to 6).
Entrance exam fee and payment method
The entrance examination fee has been fixed at Rs. 2,500 (in words: two thousand five hundred only).
While filling the form, students must make an online payment through e-Sewa or Khalti.
The deposited amount will not be refunded.
This admission notice is only for Patan Multiple Campus, Patandhoka, Lalitpur, and the quota is limited to 30 students.
Written exam, exam center, and result date
The written entrance examination will be held on February 21, 2026 (2082 Falgun 9) at 8:30 AM.
The examination center will be published later.
The result will be published on February 22, 2026 (2082 Falgun 10).
The concerned campuses must complete approval of applicants’ forms within February 16 to 19, 2026.
