TU BCA and BSW Entrance Form Open for Academic Session 2083

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Office of the Dean, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, has opened the online entrance application form for admission to the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor in Social Work (BSW) programs for Academic Session 2026 / 2083/084 B.S.

Interested and eligible students can submit the online entrance application form through the official TU FoHSS entrance portal.

About the Programs

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is suitable for students interested in computer applications, information technology, software-related fields, digital systems, and technology-based career pathways. As stated in the campus notice, BCA focuses on practical learning, real-world projects, and preparation for future opportunities in the IT and digital sector.

Bachelor in Social Work (BSW) is suitable for students interested in social work, community service, development practice, public welfare, social development, and human-centered professional fields.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria differ according to when the applicant passed Grade 12.

For Students Who Passed Grade 12 from 2079 B.S. Onwards

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Minimum D grade in each subject of Grade 11 and Grade 12 with CGPA 1.8 or more
    or

  • Minimum second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent level in any discipline

Students who have passed Grade 11 and are waiting for the Grade 12 result can also apply. However, they must submit Grade 11 and Grade 12 certificates and all required documents at the time of admission.

A Level passed students are also eligible to fill up the form.

For Students Who Passed Grade 12 Before 2079 B.S.

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Minimum D+ grade in each subject of Grade 11 and Grade 12 with CGPA 2.0 or more
    or

  • Minimum second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent level in any discipline

Entrance Examination Fee

In words: One thousand five hundred only

The deposited entrance examination fee is non-refundable.

The respective campuses should approve applicants’ forms from 5 August to 20 August 2026.
