Candidates applying for the BBA program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exams from the recognized educational institutes with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA and are eligible to enroll in this program. Eligible applicants must appear in the Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by the TU Faculty of Management (TUFOM). The CMMAT will follow the international testing pattern and standards. It includes the areas like:

The CMAT contains one hundred (100) objective questions, twenty (25) in each section, and a total weight of 100 marks. To qualify for the interview, the student must obtain a minimum of 40% in the CMAT.
The candidate applying for the four-year BBS program must have completed the NEB 10+2, A Levels, or an equivalent course from a recognized institution.

Candidates applying for the three-year BA program must have completed NEB 10+2 in management, humanities, science, education, or A Levels, an equivalent course from any board or recognized institution.
Should have a bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or Science Background.

A student holding a Bachelor's degree in any of the following subjects recognized by Tribhuvan University is eligible to apply for admission: Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology, Psychology, History, Home Science, Geography, Economics, and Political Science.
Passed with any discipline from the education, management, and law faculty.
Passed with discipline from the Institute of Medicine, engineering, forestry, agriculture, and animal science.
An applicant wishing to enroll in the MA Sociology program must take a one-hour Entrance Examination administered by the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tribhuvan University.
