Ritz College of Engineering and Management (RCEM) was established in 2009 under the Milestone Network. Located in Balkumari, Lalitpur, the college operates from a 12-acre campus and offers undergraduate study in computer applications, hotel management, civil engineering, and business administration.

Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)

The Bachelor of Hotel Management is a four-year program spread over eight semesters. Students must complete 120 credit hours covering coursework, project work, and internship requirements.

The curriculum combines foundation courses, management core courses, hotel management core courses, electives, specialization courses, project work, and industrial exposure. It is structured to develop both management knowledge and operational understanding of hospitality services.

Teaching methods include lectures, case studies, group discussions, assignments, presentations, demonstrations, field visits, and practical work. The medium of instruction and examination is English.

Project work is included in the sixth semester. Students may prepare a business plan related to a hotel, resort, bakery, restaurant, coffee shop, or theme park, or complete a research paper within tourism and hospitality. The project includes a presentation before a panel consisting of college professors, lecturers, or industry specialists.

A major component of the BHM curriculum is 48 weeks of industrial exposure during the seventh and eighth semesters. Training may involve areas such as:

First-year study includes Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Calculus I, Computer Programming, Engineering Drawing, Applied Mechanics, Algebra and Geometry, Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering Materials, Civil Engineering Workshop, Engineering Geology, and Introduction to Energy Engineering.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

The Bachelor of Business Administration curriculum runs across eight semesters and combines management, accounting, economics, finance, marketing, statistics, communication, information systems, research, business law, projects, practicums, electives, concentration subjects, and internship work.

The first semester includes English, Basic Mathematics, IT for Business, Behavioral Science, Principles of Management, and Software Skills Practicum. The second semester covers Business Communication, Business Mathematics, Introduction to Microeconomics, Fundamentals of Organizational Behavior, Financial Accounting, and Soft Skills Practicum.

Students then move into Business Statistics, Introduction to Macroeconomics, Cost and Management Accounting, Essentials of Finance, Principles of Marketing, Digital Marketing Practicum, Data Analysis and Modeling, Business and Society, Business Research Methods, Human Resource Management, Introduction to Financial Management, and Fintech Practicum.
