Established in 1996 A.D., Eternal Light Public Secondary School (ELPSS) has been a beacon of quality education in Naya Bazaar, Kathmandu, Nepal. As a private educational institution, ELPSS is affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education, ensuring its commitment to excellence in education. Homework:
At ELPSS, we view homework as a means of further exploration rather than mere review. The volume of homework assigned aligns with our school Homework Policy, taking into consideration the student's skill level and age. By encouraging students to delve deeper into the subjects introduced in class, we promote a holistic understanding of the topics covered.
Attendance and Assessment:
To ensure students' consistent engagement in the learning process, ELPSS requires a minimum attendance of 90% of the total classes conducted in an academic year. This attendance policy helps instill discipline and commitment among students. To evaluate their progress, the academic session is divided into three terms. Regular fortnightly assessments are conducted, providing continuous feedback on students' performance. ELPSS adopts both formative and summative evaluation methods to ensure fair judgment and an overall assessment of each student.
