Established to honor Girija Prasad Koirala, a monumental figure in the Democratic Republic Movement and Nepal's first head of state post-republic declaration, the Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial College (GP Koirala Memorial College) has been providing quality education since receiving its affiliation from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2013/014 AD. Operating as a community college, it aims to shape educated, competent, qualitative, and competitive human resources. GP KMC is located in  Siphal, Chabahil, Kathmandu, Nepal.

• Membership Expansion: We plan to expand our membership to interested parties and individuals for a fee.
• Infrastructure Development: We are committed to erecting our own infrastructure and are appealing to the government for land grants, or seeking public funds from various institutions, individuals, or donors.
• Academic Expansion: We aim to run various academic programs, including Bachelor's and Master's degrees, as well as technical and vocational courses under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Nepal.
• Scholarship Provision: We are dedicated to providing either full or partial scholarships to all enrolled students from funds generated by the college.
• Resource Development: We plan to gradually recruit competent and quality human resources.
• Technology Integration: We aim to set up classes via multimedia technology.
• Affiliations: We aspire to seek affiliations from different national and international renowned universities and educational institutions to run various academic and vocational courses/programmes.
• Welfare Initiatives: We are setting up scholarship funds for the economically poor, disabled, differently-abled students.
• Residential Blocks: We plan to construct residential blocks for students coming from within or outside the country.
• University Aspirations: We aim to transform this college into the G. P. Koirala Community University in cooperation with other community colleges in the country.

Fundraising/Donation Strategies

In order to achieve our goals, we have developed a system to honour our donors:

• Donations between NPR 1,001 and NPR 1,00,00,000 and above will be recognized with honors ranging from having the donor's name listed in the Annual Journal to having a college building named after them and a full-figured statue erected in their honour. Furthermore, donors will be given the opportunity to recommend students for scholarships, depending on the donation amount.
• Donors providing more than NPR 25,000 will be made life members of the college.
• Any individual or institution can participate in our scholarship scheme by paying NPR 10,000 per year, enabling a needy student to access free education.
• Donors wishing to offer scholarships to commemorate a departed loved one can open a joint account with an amount above NPR 1,00,000. The interest from this account will be used for scholarships.
