Established in 1991 AD, the Kathmandu Shiksha Multiple Campus (KSMC) is a revered institution and a result of the profound vision of university educators striving to cultivate a community-centric educational environment in Nepal. Situated conveniently near Prithivi Highways and just half a kilometer South-West of Naikap, KSMC has been a key player in Nepal's academic landscape, with a reputation built over a rich history of academic progress and achievement.
The Foundation and Growth of KSMC
The inception of KSMC can be traced back to the formation of a dedicated team of educational professionals in 2047 BS. The institution was officially established in the following academic year, 2048 BS, under the able leadership of Late Prof. Rajendra Kumar Rangong. Even in its nascent stage, KSMC managed to make a considerable impact, admitting approximately 350 students in its inaugural year. The institution has since grown significantly, boasting a current student population of around 900 in the fiscal year 2078/79.

Admission Guidelines
For Tribhuvan University Graduates
Candidates from Tribhuvan University are required to submit photocopies of their transcripts and character certificates from their previous degree when submitting their application form.
For Graduates from Other Universities
Candidates from universities other than Tribhuvan University must submit original migration certificates. In addition, they should also provide photocopies of equivalent testimonials from their School Leaving Certificate (SLC) onwards when they submit their application form.
Note on Equivalence Certificates
Please be advised that the Curriculum Development Center of Tribhuvan University is the designated authority for providing equivalence certificates for degrees obtained from other universities and boards. Candidates from other universities must obtain this certificate to confirm the equivalency of their degree with the requirements of KSMC.
Scholarship Opportunities
Academic Excellence Scholarships

Need-Based Scholarships

Admission Discount
To motivate academic excellence, KSMC extends special discounts on admission fees for students who achieve high GPAs/marks in their previous board exams or entrance exams. Please note that these discounts do not extend to tuition, monthly, or semester fees.
Merit-Based Scholarships
Merit-based scholarships are granted to students who secure top positions in the board exams or at the end of each semester. In addition to this, students in grades 11 and 12 may also receive scholarships based on their performance in terminal examinations.
