PCL Nursing Eligibility

For PCL Nursing admission, applicants must meet the academic entry criteria and pass the entrance examination administered by CTEVT. Eligible applicants are selected on a merit basis.

The entry criteria include SLC in second division with English, Science, and Mathematics, or SEE with minimum GPA 2.0 and C grade in Compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science. Applicants with SLC plus TSLC in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife with minimum 68.33% are also included in the eligibility route.

Diploma in Civil Engineering at KPTI

The Diploma in Civil Engineering program at KPTI is a three-year CTEVT-affiliated diploma course. The program prepares middle-level technical personnel for civil engineering work.

The course follows a semester system and covers civil engineering areas related to roads, irrigation, water supply, building construction, urban development, and infrastructure-related sectors. It is suited for students seeking technical education connected with construction, supervision, fieldwork, and civil infrastructure service.

Diploma in Civil Engineering Eligibility

For admission to Diploma in Civil Engineering, applicants should have passed SLC or SEE with minimum C grade in Compulsory Mathematics and Science and D+ in English. The entry criteria also include Pre-diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 67.00%. Applicants must pass the entrance examination administered by CTEVT.

Admission Process

Admission at KPTI follows CTEVT-linked academic and entrance requirements for each program. Students applying for PCL Nursing or Diploma in Civil Engineering need to meet the eligibility criteria for the chosen course and pass the CTEVT entrance examination.

For PCL Nursing, eligible applicants are selected on a merit basis. For Diploma in Civil Engineering, applicants must pass the entrance examination administered by CTEVT.

Attendance, Examination, and Certification

The CTEVT curriculum requires minimum 90% attendance in each subject to appear in the respective final examination. Assessment includes internal evaluation and final examination components.

Students must pass theory and practical components as required by the curriculum. For both PCL Nursing and Diploma in Civil Engineering, students must secure minimum 40% marks in theory and 50% marks in practical.

Students who complete all required components of the PCL Nursing program receive the Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing qualification. Students who complete all required components of the civil engineering diploma receive the Diploma in Civil Engineering qualification.

Fees and Scholarships

The fee structure includes Rs. 4,70,000 for Staff Nursing and Rs. 2,40,000 for Diploma in Civil Engineering.

KPTI also has scholarship provisions for economically needy, diligent, and disciplined students. Scholarships of 100%, 50%, and 25% are provided on the basis of marksheet results in semester examinations.
