About NAST Dhangadhi
National Academy of Science and Technology was founded with the objective of providing Computer and Civil Engineering programs. The institution began teaching Computer Engineering in the year of its establishment.

Scholarships Based on +2 or Equivalent Results
Students scoring 80% and above in +2 or equivalent level receive a 100% waiver in monthly fees and admission fees.
Students scoring below 80% and above 75% in +2 level receive a 50% discount on monthly fee and admission fee.
Students scoring below 75% and above 70% in +2 level receive a 25% discount on monthly fee and admission fee.
Students scoring below 70% and above 65% in +2 level receive a 10% discount on monthly fee and admission fee.
Students scoring below 65% and above 60% in +2 level receive a 10% discount on monthly fee only.
Scholarships for NAST Secondary School Students
Students who have passed +2 level from NAST secondary school receive a 100% waiver in admission fees in any academic discipline.
Pokhara University and Government-Directed Scholarships
Students formally forwarded by Pokhara University through written directives receive free study as specified by the directive.
Other scholarships may be available when written and specified directives are received from the Government of Nepal or the Ministry of Education.
Pokhara University has a provision of full scholarship for 2 students in each program every year. This applies to students who have passed S.E.E. from Community Schools and succeeded in the scholarship test examination conducted by the University at Pokhara.
Entrance and Semester Performance Scholarships
Entrance toppers of each program receive a 50% discount for one semester in tuition fees only.
Semester toppers in the University exam receive scholarships according to SGPA. A semester topper with at least 3 to 3.79 SGPA receives a 50% tuition fee scholarship for one semester. Semester toppers with less than 3 SGPA do not receive this scholarship.
A semester topper with 3.8 SGPA or more receives a 100% tuition fee scholarship for one semester.
Additional Scholarship Provisions
If more than one student of the same feeder parent is studying at NAST, a 50% discount is given to the students who are studying in the case of academic scholarship winners.
The college provides a Rs. 20,000 cash reward to students awarded a Gold Medal by the university for the highest CGPA score in the University.
Scholarships may be withdrawn if a student violates any college rule or code, fails in more than one subject in semester examinations, fails continuously in two semesters, or remains with more than two back papers.
Except in cases covered by university or government regulations and written directives, annual college charges and total university charges are generally payable by scholarship holders.
Other scholarship conditions are applied as per university rules and specified government directives.
