Nepalgunj Medical College (NGMC) was established in 1996 AD (2053 BS) located in Nepalgunj, Banke district of Nepal. This College currently running in Basic science campus at Chisapani and Teaching Hospitals at Kohalpur & Nepalgunj. Nepalgunj Medical College is affiliated to Kathmandu University (KU) and Nepal Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It is accredited by Nepal Medical Council for MBBS Programs and Nepal Nursing Council for PCL Nursing programs. This college has been offering MBBS Programme since 1997. It has 1050 bedded Teaching Hospital.
This college is managed by Lord Buddha Educational Academy, Nepalgunj to fulfill the objective of developing the nation by teaching excellence in the educational sector. It is a group of renowned entrepreneurs and medical professionals joined hands to create an educational institution. Lord Buddha College, Kohalpur is affiliated with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for PCL Nursing program.
MISSION
Immediate mission of the organization is to develop medical, dental, nursing & health related educational institutions in the country particularly in the Mid-West and Far West development regions as these regions are the least developed in the country.
