Campus Background

The campus was previously known as Janahit Multiple Campus. It was later renamed Tej Nirala Janahit Multiple Campus in memory of Nirala Kumari Tulachan, whose contribution of more than one crore rupees supported its establishment and growth. Her ancestral home was Tukuche in Thakkhola, while her family was living in Pokhara at the time. Born in 1990 BS, she passed away in 2076 BS.
The campus holds a distinct place in Mustang because it brought bachelor-level education into the district headquarters at Jomsom. This helped address the financial burden faced by many poor and disadvantaged families who otherwise had to send students outside the district for higher education.
