The Chandbagh School is a co-educational school, located in Bansbari, Kathmandu, adjacent to Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre. It is located in a peaceful area of nearly 50,000 sq. ft.

The School started as a Primary Day Boarding School and at present it is a full-fledged Higher Secondary School, having its affiliation with NEB Board of Nepal as well as CBSE India. The Secondary Level status has been upgraded to Higher Secondary from the year 2011-12.

Like all educational institutions, this school too had a humble beginning. But it has grown strength to strength each year. It has a sprawling complex of 50,000 sq. ft area, which is located in a secluded and pollution-free area. Its physical infrastructure is second to none in comparison to any top educational institution in this country. It has qualified, experienced and motivated manpower to take on the educational challenges of the new millennium.

The Chandbagh School NEB program began with the vision to fulfill the envisioned national education policy formatted by the Ministry of Education, which was to promote K-12 in all the Secondary Schools of Nepal. With these motives, the school management had initiated this program in the school sector. At the present, we are operating a Management stream with General Management, Computer Science and Hotel Management for our students. Our future plan is to offer other streams and convert the school into a complete K-12 institution.

Its vision and mission with respect to our +2 Programme are different from other institutions offering the same course of studies. Its main focus is to provide an extended teaching and learning pedagogy to students passing out from Grade X.
