Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Bagmati Multiple Campus
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Bagmati Multiple Campus is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme offered under the Faculty of Education of Tribhuvan University. Located in Durga Bhagawati Rural Municipality, Pipara Bhalohiya, Rautahat, Madhesh Province, the campus is a public higher educational institution approved by the University Grants Commission of Nepal. Academic processes for entrance, admission, curriculum, annual examinations, and results follow Tribhuvan University rules, guidelines, and the university’s annual calendar.
The four-year B.Ed. annual system is structured around 22 courses with a total of 2200 full marks. The programme includes communication skills, professional core courses, specialization major courses, specialization minor courses, and teaching internship or practicum. Core areas include General Nepali, General English, Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Evaluation, and an elective in Instructional Technology or ICT in Education.
Students are required to choose one specialization major and one different specialization minor. The curriculum includes major areas such as Nepali, English, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Population, Geography, Economics, History, and Political Science Education. Eligibility for admission includes HSE, Grade 12, PCL, or an equivalent qualification, together with subject-based requirements according to the selected specialization.
At Bagmati Multiple Campus, the B.Ed. programme is supported by classrooms, a library, counseling, teaching practice, sports, journal activities, educational tours, and extracurricular activities. The campus also provides scholarship support for economically backward, marginalized, physically disabled, girls, Dalit, and other deprived students, making the programme accessible for students in the area.
