The BBS program follows the TU annual examination system. Final examinations are conducted by Tribhuvan University through the Office of the Controller of Examinations. For eligibility to appear in annual examinations, students must maintain at least 70 percent attendance in classes actually held.
Students must pass theoretical, practical, and project components separately where applicable. A student cannot appear in the second-year final examination without first appearing in the first-year final examination. The annual examination division system is 35 percent for Third Division, 45 percent for Second Division, 60 percent for First Division, and 75 percent for Distinction Division.
