Students with Higher Secondary Education Examination Pass Certificate, Proficiency Certificate Level of Tribhuvan University, or an equivalent Grade 12 qualification are eligible for admission to the B.Ed program.

For Nepali Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with Nepali major of at least 200 marks.
For English Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with English or Linguistics major, or 50% marks in General English. Students may also qualify by securing 50% marks in the entrance examination conducted by the respective campus department.
For Mathematics Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with Mathematics major carrying at least 200 marks.
For Science Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with at least 100 full marks in each subject.
For Health and Physical Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with Health and Physical Education, or with Science, Population, Home Science, Nursing, or other accepted subjects. Students without a Health and Physical Education background must pass a physical fitness-related entrance test conducted by the respective campus department.
For Population Education, students may come from backgrounds including Population Studies, Geography, Economics, Health and Physical Education, Community Health, Science, Mathematics, Home Science, Civics, Social Service, Nursing, or Commerce.
For Geography Education, Economics Education, Political Science Education, and History Education, students with HSE, Grade 12, PCL, or an equivalent qualification from any faculty may apply.
