Ten Plus Two in Law provides a starting point for students interested in legal, administrative and public-service-related education. It develops awareness of justice, rights, responsibilities and the role of legal institutions in society.
The course does not qualify a student to practise law after Grade 12. Instead, it prepares students for further academic study by giving them early exposure to legal terminology, legal reasoning and the organization of Nepal’s justice system.
Students should be comfortable with reading, writing, discussion and interpretation. Law subjects require attention to definitions, legal concepts, institutional procedures and the relationship between rules and practical situations.
Eligibility: For Grade 11 admission in the academic year 2079, students who completed Grade 10 were required to obtain a minimum average GPA of 1.6 in the Secondary Education Examination.
