It also includes a Labor Market Driven Program (LMDP) approach connected with the Nurturing Higher Education Project (NEHEP) of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal.

The program aims to develop students’ knowledge and skills in environmental science and contemporary environmental issues. The physical and e-library provision follows a learning resource ratio of one item per four students at most.
The B.Sc. in Environmental Science program is open for inbound and outbound credit transfer under mutual understanding with higher education institutions offering similar programs. Students may earn approved credits through regular classes and assessment systems at other institutions, subject to the credit transfer process of GSST-MU.
A two-way full transfer of credits is also permitted with approval from the Academic Council of Mid-West University.
