Academic performance is assessed through internal and external evaluation. Internal assessment carries 40 percent and may include quizzes, assignments, presentations, class participation, term papers, group discussions, and midterm examinations.
The semester-end examination carries 60 percent. Students must pass the internal and external components independently. For admission batches from 2081 BS onward, evaluation follows a four-point grading system.
