Who Is This Course For?
The BBA may suit students interested in understanding how organizations manage finance, people, marketing, operations, information, and business decisions. The curriculum includes both numerical and communication-based subjects, so students encounter accounting, mathematics, statistics, report writing, presentations, and management analysis.
It also introduces entrepreneurship, project management, e-commerce, strategic management, and business conditions in Nepal. Students select a specialization during the later part of the program.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed twelve years of schooling or an equivalent qualification from a university, board, or institution recognized by Purbanchal University.
They must have secured at least 40 percent in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent program.

Foundation study covers English, business communication, mathematics, statistics, and economics. Core study develops knowledge across accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations, law, taxation, research, information systems, and organizational management.
Semester-wise Curriculum
The first semester includes Business Mathematics, English, Business Economics, Financial Accounting-I, and Principles of Management. The second semester covers Business Communications, Macro Economic Analysis and Policy, Business Statistics, Principles of Marketing, and Financial Accounting-II.
The third and fourth semesters move into Business Finance, Database Management System, Marketing Management, Business Environment of Nepal, Business Law, Financial Management, Taxation and Auditing, Human Resource Management, and Quantitative Techniques for Business.
During the fifth and sixth semesters, students study Research Methodology and Report Writing, Production and Operations Management, Banking and Insurance, Project Management, Organizational Behavior, Management Information System, Public Finance, Total Quality Management, Tourism Management, and Entrepreneurship Development.
The seventh semester includes Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, internship, and two specialization courses. International Business, Strategic Management, and three additional specialization courses are studied in the eighth semester.

These areas allow students to concentrate on subjects such as consumer behavior, investment decisions, employee development, auditing, company accounts, international finance, or export management.
Internship and Evaluation
The five-credit internship connects management study with experience in an organization. Assessment is divided among the organization’s evaluation, the written internship report, and a viva-voce examination. The distribution is 20 marks for organizational evaluation, 40 marks for the report, and 40 marks for the viva.
For theoretical courses, internal assessment carries 30 marks and the semester-end examination carries 70 marks. The pass marks are 12 for internal assessment and 28 for the semester-end examination. Students require at least 80 percent attendance in each course to qualify for the semester-end examination.
Academic and Career Direction
The curriculum supports the development of business communication, accounting, quantitative analysis, marketing planning, research, report writing, project planning, and organizational decision-making abilities.
