Book Talk on ‘Neelo Prem’ Held in Kohalpur
A book talk was held on the popular novel ‘Neelo Prem’ under the organization of Purnima Sahitya Pratisthan, Kohalpur.
Purnima Chairperson Dr. Pushkar Rijal said the event was organized with the aim of presenting the inner essence of ‘Neelo Prem’ to campus students and creators from this area, and of enabling a direct interaction with the author.
Author Purushottam Bajgain, who wrote the book by taking the psychology of the younger generation as its theme, said his effort to present the many dimensions of love as an aesthetic of sound had been meaningful. He also tried to address and clarify the queries raised by participants.
Chief guest and Campus Chief Dan Bahadur Hamal said the novel helps readers understand that love has many colors and dimensions. He added that Wageshwari Multiple Campus has always been working to enhance students’ creative capacity, and that the interaction program with the author of ‘Neelo Prem’ further encouraged them.
At the program, Pragna Mahananda Dhakal and Purnima advisor Sagar Gaire, among others, delivered goodwill remarks.
The event saw the participation of around five hundred people from Kohalpur and the surrounding areas of Nepalgunj, including Vishnu Poudel, manager of the publisher B.N. Pustak. The program began with a welcome address by the institution’s Vice-President Dr. Khopiram Woli, and was chaired by Purnima Chairperson Dr. Pushkar Rijal.
Kohalpur
