The official Media Day and Press Meet for the Golden Gate International College–KBA Global Cricket Clash 2026, organized by KBA Global Pvt. Ltd., was held at Aryal Hotel, Kathmandu. Organizers said the tournament is fully prepared and will now move into the match phase.
During the program, the organizing team shared the tournament’s objectives, format, rules, match schedule, and the list of participating colleges. The main matches are scheduled for 24 and 25 February 2026 at One Day Cricket Academy. The inter-college competition will feature 12 teams:

Speaking at the event, Binod Dahal Upadhya, Business Development Manager of KBA Global, said the tournament aims to give young players a shared platform to build sportsmanship, leadership, and discipline. Rohit Paudel, Director of Golden Gate International College (Title Sponsor), noted that links between education and sports support students’ overall development. Bijay Babu Regmi, Chief Skill Development Officer of Techspire College (Powered-by Sponsor), spoke about how sports can strengthen skills, leadership, and a competitive mindset.
Representatives from partner organizations were also present. Kumari Bank Ltd. (Banking Partner) was represented by Samjhana Rana. Media partners Jupiter Media (represented by Sunil Acharya) and Himalayan Television (represented by Shambhu Guragain) attended as well. Representatives from Cheire Digital (Digital Partner), Aarya Travel (Travel Partner), Fit & Spectrum (Fitness Partner), and Hardik Hotel & Restaurant (Khaja Partner) were also in attendance.
The program included the official unveiling of the tournament trophy, followed by an open media interaction and Q&A session. Matches will be played on 24 and 25 February at One Day Cricket Academy, where the participating colleges will compete for the championship.
