Janata Multiple Campus Itahari to Hold International Academic Conference
Janata Multiple Campus, operating in Itahari with a focus on innovation, research, and the sustainability of higher education, is set to hold an international-level academic conference on 2082 Poush 5 and 6.
To promote the international academic conference, students carried out a day-long foot march on Saturday from morning until evening in and around Barahakshetra, a well-known religious site in eastern Nepal, along with nearby historical, religious, and tourist areas.
As Janata Multiple Campus continues to establish itself as an important educational center in the east, the conference is being organized to pursue knowledge across educational, managerial, economic, social, cultural, science, and technology fields.
For the conference promotion, students studying at the campus in the postgraduate level and in the fourth year of the bachelor’s level started their foot march from the Koshi Bridge at Barahakshetra and proceeded through:

According to Sadev Kafle, coordinator of the publicity committee and chairperson of the Free Students’ Union, the campus is organizing the international conference by inviting renowned professors from various countries, with the hope and expectation that this will serve as a major milestone for the broader development of Janata Multiple Campus.
Vishnu Karki, a member of the international conference organizing committee, stated that this will be an important achievement in moving Janata Multiple Campus forward as an educational hub and developing it as a stronger academic center.
According to campus chief Dr. Geeta Adhikari, the conference will feature intellectual discussions and debates on globally observed bodies of knowledge and their practices.
Janata Multiple Campus has been providing higher education especially to students from Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
Chairperson of the campus management committee, Bikash KC, said that separate subcommittees have been formed for the conference and preparations are currently underway at a war footing. Under the leadership of Chairperson KC, a five-year agreement was signed in Asar with two prestigious universities in India to promote academic, research, and cultural exchange. KC also said that this conference is being organized on the foundation of that agreement.
For the first time in Asar, Janata Campus signed agreements with Baba Mastnath University in Haryana, India, and Shri JJT University in Rajasthan, India.
Janata Campus, which has succeeded in obtaining a Quality Assurance and Accreditation certificate from the University Grants Commission Nepal, has been running the following academic programs at the bachelor’s level:
