Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Office of the Municipal Executive, Kathmandu Plaza, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal, Public Notice: Call for Partnership Proposals to Organize 'Skill Fair 2082'
Kathmandu Metropolitan City is organizing ‘Skill Fair 2082’ at Tundikhel from Jestha 7 under the Pride Project: Employment and Income Generation and Prosperous Kathmandu Program. The fair aims to train unskilled individuals and upgrade those with basic skills to help build a skilled labor force for the market.
The event seeks to:
-
Showcase possibilities for domestic employment
-
Transition workers from the informal to the formal economy
-
Create opportunities for skilled individuals to connect with employment sectors
The expected outcome is to strengthen three major linkages:
-
Connect education with skills to equip unskilled individuals
-
Connect skills with labor to link workers and employers
-
Connect labor with production to boost income generation
To make this fair collaborative and inclusive, the Metropolitan City invites proposals from private organizations, training providers, and national/international institutions willing to cooperate in areas such as training delivery, event management, or job placement.
Interested entities must submit their proposals within three (3) days from the date of this notice, detailing their areas of collaboration—financial, technical, or otherwise—to the Secretariat of the Urban Planning Commission.
