Krishna Prasad Pathak Autobiography Launched

Kathmandu - Krishna Prasad Pathak’s autobiography, Aafainlai Pharkera Herdā, was launched during a program on Saturday, 2082 Magh 10.

In the autobiography, the author’s life journey, struggles, political ups and downs, social experiences, and personal memories are presented in a very simple and realistic manner.

The work covers a journey from rural life in Nepal around 80–85 years ago to national politics, and provides an opportunity to closely understand the inner aspects of contemporary Nepali society, politics, and leadership.

The book also includes organizational politics within the Nepali Congress, land reform and the sukumbasi problem, arrests and repression faced during political movements, and the author’s outlook on life while fighting serious health problems.

At the program, speakers including Krishna Dharabasi, former Supreme Court Justice Mohan Sitoula, former ambassador Krishna Oli, journalist Pratik Pradhan, border expert Punya Oli, writer Khagendra Sangraula, and former Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Upreti commented on the topics covered in the autobiography and highlighted the personality of the author Pathak.

At the event, Pathak’s 88th birthday was also celebrated by cutting a cake.
