Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 2021 Preparation Completed:
Necessary preparations have been completed for the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship-2021. The global level competition is being conducted at three levels including district, national and international.
Dinesh Lamichhane, managing director of Partner Deep IT and Education Consultancy, said at a press conference on Friday that the district level partner has been trained for necessary management and all other preparations have been completed. Training has been given to the headmasters and computer teachers of private schools in the district for the preparation of the competition. Lamichhane said that the program for government school teachers will be launched soon.
42 districts of Nepal will participate in the global competition. In addition, 135 countries in the world, including Nepal, will participate. "This is a global competition," Lamichhane said. "It will test skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint." Students will be awarded an internationally recognized Microsoft certificate. '
It is said that not only those who have studied computer subject and are interested in the computer but also others can participate and get Microsoft certificate by becoming proficient.
Those selected from the district will participate in the national level competition. Six winners will be selected from that, 'said Lamichhane. The competition will be held in 6 categories including Microsoft-2016 and 2019 in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The winners of each category will be able to go to the United States representing Nepal. The international winner will receive 7,000$, the Second runner-up 3,500$, and the third runner up 1,500$.
