MWU and Birendranagar Municipality Discuss Cooperation

A discussion was held in the Mayor’s office between the Vice-Chancellor of Mid-West University, Prof. Dr. Dhruva Kumar Gautam, and the Mayor of Birendranagar Municipality, Mohanmaya Dhakal, on various aspects of mutual cooperation and support.
On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gautam stated that, in line with the agreement between Mid-West University and Birendranagar Municipality, both sides agreed to establish and implement the “Birendranagar Municipality Higher Education Scholarship Fund” according to the municipality’s approved budget and programs, for the benefit of students coming to study at the University.
The discussion also covered cooperation on constructing a hostel at Mid-West University, organizing international conferences, and collaborating on academic activities.
The program was attended by Executive Director of the Planning Development and Monitoring Directorate Dr. Bishnu Kumar Khadka, Head of Department and Vice-Chancellor Secretariat member Associate Prof. Khemraj Rawat, Municipal Education Committee member Gangaram Timalsena, and Chief Administrative Officer of the municipality Laxmi Prasad Baskota.
