Namuna College of Fashion Technology Presents 'Kalpanam Satyathat': A Journey of Fashion
Namuna College of Fashion Technology held its 17th edition of Journey of Fashion on April 6th, 2023, with the title 'Kalpanam Satyathat'. The event showcased the creativity and talent of 83 student designers from the 17th batch of the college.
The entire making of the fashion show was organized, managed, and presented by these student designers who presented their unique designs in front of a captivated audience. The fashion show comprised thirty-three models, each exhibiting attractive fashion styles, colors, forms, and creations.
The program was directed and choreographed by renowned journalist and fashion choreographer Rosin Shakya. She infused her expertise and experience to make the show a massive success.
The event also witnessed the joint release of the second edition of the 'Fashion Catalogue' by the Vice-Chancellor of Purvanchal University, Prof. Dr. Yadavraj Koirala, and the Founder Principal of Namuna College, Gyani Shobha Tuladhar. The catalog showcased the exquisite designs created by the students and highlighted their hard work and creativity.
The fashion show also had some notable personalities from the fashion industry, including Fashion teachers Rajendra Singh, Nisha Shrestha, and Kushma Shrestha, President of Saakha Group Kiran Sakha, First Miss Nepal Ruvi Rana, Executive Director of National Skill Testing Committee Dr. Kul Bahadur Basnet, Fashion Designer Ramila Nemkul, and Actor and Fashion Choreographer Prashant Tamrakar, who played the role of the judge.
The students who participated in the final examination of the undergraduate level presented their designs as part of the examination. The event was a fantastic platform for the students to showcase their creativity and talent and gain recognition from renowned personalities in the fashion industry.
