Indigenous Traditional Food Hygiene Fair 2082
Kathmandu Metropolitan City is organizing the “Indigenous Traditional Food Hygiene Fair–2082.” Issuing a notice today, the Metropolitan City stated that the fair will be held on Mangsir 28, 2082, on the eve of Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Establishment Day.
The Metropolitan City said the fair has been planned to promote and preserve local identity by bringing together hygienic food practices and the protection of cultural heritage in one place. The fair will be conducted at Nandakishor Garden (Narayan Chaur), Naxal.
The Metropolitan City has also arranged for at least one indigenous local food-related stall from each of all 32 wards within Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Unity in Taste, Diversity on the Plate
Local food items prepared according to seasons and in connection with Nepal’s festivals, religious, social, and cultural traditions are among the main attractions of the fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about and taste indigenous and local food dishes with authentic flavors.
