Vocational & Skill Development Training Center, Gandaki Call Application for Various Trainings
The Gandaki Pradesh Government has initiated an exciting opportunity for the residents of Gandaki Pradesh, Nepal. Hosted by the Ministry of Social Development and Health, the Vocational and Skill Development Training Centre in Parbat is offering free skill development and self-employment training sessions.
About the Program:
- Origin: Vocational & Skill Development Training Center, Gandaki, Parbat, Nepal.
- Objective: To provide authentic vocational and self-employment training free of charge under the 2080/081 annual program.
Who Can Apply?
- Age Limit: Between 18 and 40 years.
- Required Qualifications:
- Monteshwari for class 12th training.
- SEE or equivalent for computer training.
- Basic training prerequisite for advanced courses.
- Minimum 8th class pass for other training sessions.

- Basic cutting and sewing
- Basic Hairdressing/Beautician
- Basic Computer
- Kushma Bazar:
- Motorcycle repair
- Paiyun Rural Municipality:
- Electrical connection/wiring
- Baglung Bazar:
- Plumbing
- Mobile Repair
- Advanced cutting and sewing
- Advanced Hairdressing/Beautician
- Beni Bazar:
- Hairdressing (shalloon)
- Montessori
- Thasang Rural Municipality, Mustang:
- Miniteler Plow Repair (15 Days duration)
Application Details:
- Duration: Courses run for 3 months (78 working days or 390 hours).
- Batch Size: Maximum of 20 people per training.
- Documents Needed:
- Photocopy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
- Photocopy of educational qualifications.
- One passport-size photo.

- Dhaulagiri Modern and Midori Tuition Centre, Baglung Bazar.
- Executive Offices at Paiyun Rural Municipality, Beni Municipality, and Myagdi Thasang Rural Municipality, Mustang.
Special Considerations:
- Priority will be given to those who are economically and socially disadvantaged, single women, Dalits, victims of conflicts, foreign employment returnees, those affected by Covid, and those in related professions.
- Selections will be made through interviews if applications exceed the number of seats. Dates for these interviews will be announced in due course.
- Post-training, it is expected that trainees venture into professions or businesses related to the training received.
- Trainees are entitled to a daily lunch allowance of Rs.75/- on days of attendance.
- Training sessions will proceed as scheduled, even if applications for a course are less than 20.
