Public Service Commission Surkhet Announces Revised Section Officer Exam Schedule and Venues
The Public Service Commission (PSC) Surkhet is pleased to unveil the second phase of the Section Officer Post written examination or equivalent (Non-Technical). The updates include modifications in exam venues and the schedule.
Exam Centers and Timetable Updates
Owing to administrative demands, PSC has shifted the examination centers. Candidates who have cleared the first phase in Surkhet will sit for their exams in Surkhet, while Hetauda qualifiers will have their examination in Hetauda.
The updated schedule and subjects are as follows:
- Governance Systems: 2080/04/25, 2:00 PM
- Contemporary Issues: 2080/04/26, 2:00 PM
- Service-Related Subjects (Applicable to Administration, Auditing, and Federal Parliamentary Service): 2080/04/27, 2:00 PM
- English Language (Only for Foreign Affair Service): 2080/04/28, 2:00 PM
- Foreign Policy & International Relations (Only for Foreign Affair Service): 2080/04/29, 2:00 PM
Applicants are instructed to be at their specified examination venue a minimum of an hour prior to the start of the examination.
Important Exam Guidelines
To ensure a smooth examination process, the PSC provides the following crucial guidelines:
- The Commission must approve any rescheduling.
- Black ink is mandatory during the examination.
- Candidates are not allowed to change their examination center to Surkhet.
- Bags, mobile phones, and all electronic devices are strictly forbidden inside the examination hall.
- Candidates must bring their admit card along with a government-issued photo ID or citizenship. Admission without these is strictly prohibited.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
Due to the ongoing pandemic, PSC strongly advises all applicants to follow the below-mentioned COVID-19 safety measures:
- Carry personal masks, sanitizers, and drinking water.
- Comply with all instructions given by the examination center staff.
- Practice social distancing.
- Avoid group gatherings or conversations.
