Butwal Fixed as Exam Center for Nepal Army Military Written Exam

The Public Service Commission, Butwal Office (Examination Section), has published a notice designating the examination center for the written examination of the Nepal Army military post. Through Notice No. 98/082-83, the Commission made public the written examination schedule for candidates who passed the bearing, pre-medical, and physical tests conducted at Shri Mid-Western Pritana Headquarters, Yogikuti, Butwal.
Under Advertisement No. 082/83/29 (Open and Inclusive), the written examination for the military post will be held on April 4, 2026 (2082/12/21 BS) at 11:00 AM. The examination will last 2 hours and 30 minutes and will include English, Nepali, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
For the written examination, the examination building for all candidates has been fixed at Shri Butwal Kalika Campus, Ramnagar, Butwal, and it has been divided into four centers according to registration numbers.
Center "A": Registration No. MWL 01 to MWL 436, 200 candidates
Center "B": Registration No. MWL 440 to MWL 1112, 250 candidates
Center "C": Registration No. MWL 1119 to MWL 1748, 200 candidates
Center "D": Registration No. MWL 1749 to MWL 2627, 247 candidates
As biometric attendance will be taken in the examination, all candidates are required to arrive at the examination center at least 2 hours before the examination begins.
The Commission has strictly enforced the rules to be followed in the examination. Candidates must use only a black-ink dot pen or pen on the answer sheet. In answering objective multiple-choice questions, only answers written in English capital letters A, B, C, and D will be recognized as valid. A 20 percent mark deduction will be made for each incorrect answer.
An admit card is mandatory for appearing in the examination. Candidates must also bring their citizenship certificate or any original photo identity card issued by the Government of Nepal along with the admit card issued by the concerned body. Carrying mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices into the examination building is strictly prohibited.
Even if a public holiday falls on the scheduled examination date, the examination will not be postponed without prior notice from the Commission. Candidates must fully comply with the instructions given by the personnel deployed for the examination, and no candidate will be allowed to appear at any examination building other than the designated one.
